Paper Towns- John Green
Who is the real Margo?
Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew…
The most fascinating part of the book was the naming of its three sections. The story was quite John Green-ish. But these three sections- the strings, the grass and the vessels- were the thought-provokers. I have never, ever actually given so much thought to a story before. But this book will haunt you. And it wont stop doing that before you actually figure out the deep implications behind those three names, before you truly understand the comparison of strings, grass and vessels with life.
Apart from that, Quentin was adorable. You cannot read this book and not love him. Period.
